Toronto construction intelligence
Know which Toronto sites are starting, what they need, and when to call.
Every week the City issues hundreds of building permits. We read them for you, keep only the ones that need your trade, and tell you what is in scope, what has already been filed, and when to approach.

What you get each week
- Only your jobs. Filtered by trade and service area, not a raw permit dump.
- Scope in plain terms. The permit text, plus what it implies you may be asked to supply (excavation, shoring, bins, mechanical, glazing...).
- What is already taken. Plumbing, HVAC, drain and fire filings on the same job, with the company where one is named.
- When to act. Permit stage and issue date, so you call while the packages are still open.
- A contact path. The builder or developer named on the permit when it is a company; researched developer/GC contacts for major projects.

How it works, and its limits
Source: City of Toronto Open Data building permits, refreshed daily. We cover the City of Toronto today. A permit means a project has been approved to start; it is not a guarantee a package is unbought. Many house permits list the homeowner rather than a company, and we omit individuals' names, so for those the contact path is the address and the site. We say so in each brief.
